| Soin Foundation dedicates Sukhdev Raj Soin Hospital to the Nation |

Raj and Indu Soin extend their philanthropic activities with a Hospital
in Village Banchari, Hodal, Haryana, India |

Hodal, 29th December 2007- Soin Foundation India, a sister organization of Soin Foundation USA, today dedicates the Sukhdev Raj Soin Hospital to the community of Haryana. The ceremony will take place in Hodal in the presence of Minister for Health & Family planning Smt. Kartar Devi and Minister for Power, Public Health and Environment Mr. Randeep Singh Surjewala along with Mr. Avtar Singh Bhadana, Member of Parliament, Chaudhary Harsh Kumar - Member of Legislative Assembly, Mr. Udai Bhan - Member of Legislative Assembly.

With Raj Soin the Senator George Voinovich (Ohio) and Congressmen - Mike Turner (Ohio), Phil Gingrey (Ohio), Rob Bishop (Utah), and Steve Pearce(New Mexico), will also grace the occasion.

Located at Maharishi Dayanand Memorial center, the Sukhdev Raj Soin hospital is a 55 bed "non-profit" organization, which offers a wide range of round the clock worldclass medical facilities in various medical and surgical disciplines to the community at the most affordable cost. Hospital's infrastructure and services are aesthetically designed and equipped with state-of-the-art technologies to cater to the health care needs of both the rural and urban segments of Haryana.

Sukhdev Raj Soin Hospital also runs a Mobile Health Clinic, which tours the neighboring community and is of immense importance to all the villagers providing necessary medical amenities.

We plan to expand the hospital to more than 200 bed facility and establish a special training institute for nurses, and a medical college in coming years".

Applauding the initiative, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, Mr. Anbumani Ramadoss, said, "Sukhdev Raj Soin hospital has been established at an appropriate moment which will cater to the needs of masses and will mitigate the sufferings. I am confident that the specialists and the specialty services of the hospital will go a long way to combat the serious diseases being faced by masses and will play pioneering role in providing a platform in medical services delivery. Timely treatment is perhaps the best medicine to cure ailments."

Soin Foundation USA was established with the aim of supporting Raj & Indu Soin's philanthropic activities in Education, Health Care and Art & Culture areas. The Foundations is been very active in supporting philanthropic activities for a number of years. Raj Soin was a Founding Trustee and President of the Ohio India Project which was instrumental in setting up The Gandhi House- a transitional housing project to provide support to the needy, located in Dayton, Ohio and A Day of Caring - an organization to have people set aside one day every year to donate time and effort to help various organizations in need. It has grown to be a sizeable event in a number of states in the Middle Western USA and is held in February every year. It is also a major benefactor for the Raj Soin College of business and a technology and training center in Ohio.

In 2002, Raj and Indu Soin established the Soin Foundation in India with a similar mission as their foundation in the USA. The first major project of The Soin Foundation (India) is to build a non profit hospital for the Indian community in the name of Late Shri Sukhdev Raj Soin.
